Baby Girl! 6:58am, 6lb 14.4oz

Guys,
Thank you for your prayers. The baby came just before 7am today, December 30. Mom and baby are doing well. She is gorgeous. The kids came over for a look around 11am with Grandpa and Grandma.
Odd kind of labor. Very irregular contractions made is seem like we had longer to wait but then things moved quickly. Short push…maybe 8 minutes only…and then viola!
Adrienne is still over there and is staying the night. She may stay on one more day too depending on how rested up she feels.
Thank you for all your warm comments and prayers. We welcome them and are lifted up by them.
We really appreciate them and you guys.
I didn’t mention a name yet because although we are 98% sure we have not had 20 minutes to really talk in peace since delivery. We’ll settle it tomorrow.
I lean toward “Liberty America Robberson” and Adrienne is thinking “World-be-Free Moon-Unit Robberson.” We’ll probably arrive at something in the middle like “America FreeMoon Lib Robberson.” J We’ll see…
Keep you posted…
Warmly,
Peter and Adrienne Robberson

Thomas Jefferson knew because he himself studied the previous failed attempts at government. He understood actual history, the nature of God, his laws and the nature of man. That happens to be way more than what most understand today. Jefferson really knew his stuff. A voice from the past to lead us in the future:
John F. Kennedy held a dinner in the white House for a group of the brightest minds in the nation at that time. He made this statement: "This is perhaps the assembly of the most intelligence ever to gather at one time in the White House with the exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone."
When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe .
Thomas Jefferson
The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.
Thomas Jefferson
It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world.
Thomas Jefferson
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.
Thomas Jefferson
My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.
Thomas Jefferson
No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
Thomas Jefferson
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Thomas Jefferson
To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.
Thomas Jefferson
Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive
the people of all property - until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.
Not exactly a thin-skinned, community organizer...
Obama Oblivious To Bible Week
Obama Oblivious About Bible Week
ACRU Senior Legal Analyst Jan LaRue wrote this column appearing November 23, 2010 on Townhall.com.
Ramadan got a White House banquet. "National Bible Week" hasn't gotten a mention, much less an honorable one, by its Honorary Chairman Barack Hussein Obama.
National Bible Week, founded by the National Bible Association, has been celebrated during Thanksgiving week, Nov. 21-28, since its beginning in 1941. According to the National Examiner:
December 8 through 14, 1941 was set as the very first National Bible Week. President Roosevelt agreed to host celebratory events at the White House. A media campaign was planned. Civic and fraternal organizations pledged their support, along with many members of the faith community. To launch the week, a national radio broadcast on the NBC radio network was scheduled for December 7th. That first Bible reading broadcast was interrupted with news of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Soon every radio in the nation was tuned to NBC for news on the attack. In between reports network executives asked National Bible leaders to continue to read the Bible throughout the day. ... The President of the United States is the Honorary Chairman of National Bible Week and he issues a White House message.
Americans at war wisely turned to God's word for guidance and comfort. Obama would do well to follow the example of President Roosevelt and subsequent presidents by encouraging Americans to read the greatest source of moral and spiritual guidance known to man. President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush were Honorary Co-Chairs in 2008.
President Ronald Reagan proclaimed 1983 the Year of the Bible, stating:
The Bible and its teachings helped form the basis for the Founding Fathers' abiding belief in the inalienable rights of the individual, rights which they found implicit in the Bible's teachings of the inherent worth and dignity of each individual.
President George H. W. Bush signed a proclamation declaring 1990 to be the International Year of Bible Reading, stating:
More important, our moral tradition has been shaped by the laws and teachings it contains. It was a biblical view of man -- one affirming the dignity and worth of the human person, made in the image of our Creator -- that inspired the principles upon which the United States is founded.
According to a Pew Research Center survey in February 2008, 71.4 percent of the United States population identifies as Christians, 1.7 percent as Jews, and 0.6 percent as Muslim.
Incredibly, Obama claimed in 2009, "If you actually took the number of Muslims Americans, we'd be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world." Despite the fact that 71.4 percent of Americans identify with Christianity, Obama said, "[W]e're no longer a Christian nation."
Since Obama has expended so much presidential capital extolling the tiny Muslim minority in the United States, you'd think that as Honorary Chairman of National Bible Week he'd show recognition and respect to the Book on which this Judeo-Christian nation is based.
Obama concluded his Ramadan remarks praising Islam by saying, "The writ of the Founders must endure." Apparently, he needs a refresher course on some of writ of the Founders about the Bible and our Founding, available with citations at Wallbuilders.com:
John Adams: The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God. ... Suppose a nation in some distant region should take the Bible for their only law book and every member should regulate his conduct by the precepts there exhibited. . . . What a Eutopia - what a Paradise would this region be!"
Thomas Jefferson: The practice of morality being necessary for the well being of society, He [God] has taken care to impress its precepts so indelibly on our hearts that they shall not be effaced by the subtleties of our brain. We all agree in the obligation of the moral principles of Jesus and nowhere will they be found delivered in greater purity than in His discourses."
John Jay: "The Bible is the best of all books, for it is the word of God and teaches us the way to be happy in this world and in the next. Continue therefore to read it and to regulate your life by its precepts."
Noah Webster: "[O]ur citizens should early understand that the genuine source of correct republican principles is the Bible, particularly the New Testament, or the Christian religion."
Daniel Webster: "[T]he Christian religion - its general principles - must ever be regarded among us as the foundation of civil society. ... Whatever makes men good Christians makes them good citizens. ... [T]o the free and universal reading of the Bible... men [are] much indebted for right views of civil liberty."
Joseph Story: "One of the beautiful boasts of our municipal jurisprudence is that Christianity is a part of the Common Law. There never has been a period in which the Common Law did not recognize Christianity as lying at its foundations."
Roger Sherman: "[I]t is the duty of all to acknowledge that the Divine Law which requires us to love God with all our heart and our neighbor as ourselves, on pain of eternal damnation, is Holy, just, and good. . . . The revealed law of God is the rule of our duty."
Benjamin Rush: "[T]he only means of establishing and perpetuating our republican forms of government is the universal education of our youth in the principles of Christianity by means of the Bible."
And there's then Sen. Obama who ridiculed using the Bible as a "guide for our public policy." So it's not surprising that he ignored National Bible Week while honoring "National Farm-City Week," Nov. 19-25, in a 438 word presidential proclamation.
It's not hard to understand why the "writ of the Founders" is preserved in marble and the writ of Obama is fit for an Etch A Sketch

Lame Duck Update-Don't Let Your Guard Down...
Dear Patriots,
The Liberal Left and Progressives in Congress have plans to "serve" the American People for Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner between now and the end of the "Lame Duck." If you haven't figured it out by now, the Liberals' plan is a cookbook! Let's make Congress "Serve" We The People!
I can't stress enough that we must remain strong and hold the line. For most of us, this Thanksgiving will be bitter sweet. We have given our time, money and resources for cause greater than ourselves. This past year I have lost an uncle, a brother and grandfather, but have not stopped my pace. In addition, my finances and career have been seriously challenged. People have riduculed and tried to assinate my name. I am not the exeception, but the rule for tea party patriots. Right now several tea party leaders I know fight to keep their businesses and homes. We don't want a bailout, we want our country back. In order to win, we must continue the march toward Liberty.
We need to keep fighting and must not lay down our guard for minute. Tyranny doesn't not sleep or get tired. People often asked me "Why did you get involved?" I tell them about the bailouts, Stimulus Bills and big government that will destroy America as we know it. I try to further explain that as a Marine I took a solemn Oath to defend the Constitution and that many before me have paid the price for Liberty before. Liberty like Tryanny is usually purchased by blood. In my humble opinion, Liberty is different from Tyranny in that those who have it, have an obligation to pass it on to the next generation.
Please take a minute and watch this quick Youtube video on the Story Behind the National Anthem. It might help you realize the sacraficies that were paid. Check the video here.
To find your Senator, please go to: http://www.senate.gov
To find your Representative, please to go: http://www.house.gov
Below are our current Lame Duck successes:
-S3815 the Natural Gas and Electric Vehicles Bill was withdrawn by unanimous consent
-Appropriations Omnibus was rejected (CR expires December 3) The budget will be extended through some form of CR (CR=Continueing Resolution) (Ask your Representatives to reduce this by a percentage)
-Unemployement Insurance was rejected in the House.
We must defeat or minimize the damage from the following:
- The DREAM Act - Amnesty for illegal immigrants beyond current military process of becoming a US Citizen - Send a Free Fax to Sen. LeMieux http://southfloridateaparty.net/content/stop-amnesty-send-free-fax-sen-lemieux
-Allow to expire all the Stimulus in all its forms including the Build America Bonds program. Be aware of the impact on profligate local and State governments and make adjustments where appropriate http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704648604575620610837699250.html?KEYWORDS=muni+federal+program
- TANF (expires December 4th)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temporary_Assistance_for_Needy_FamiliesThis is what was added http://economic-legislation.blogspot.com/2010/10/tanf-emergency-contingency-fund.html by the Stimulus and must end.
- FAA (Expires December 31st) Reduce TSA funding - Ask your Senator/Congressman to revert TSA back to contractor status, metal detectors, profiling and dogs. It's less stressful;. costs less and more effective. Body scanners are a law enforcement tool for terrorists and smugglers. I am unconvinced the reduction of terrorism off sets the health and legal concerns.
-FDA Food Modernization Act - Will add more government control over food supply. http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s111-510&tab=summary
- FCC Net Neutrality - a threat to free speech through regulation not legislation http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2010/05/06/how-the-fcc-plans-to-regulate-internet-lines/
- The Paycheck "Fairness" Act - A threat to Free Markets and extends government's role into hiring and pay. http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h110-1338
- Quantitative Easing - Defend your purchasing power by asking your Representatives to stop Quantitative Easing. I can't stress the importance of telling DC to stop messing around with the values of our currency. http://www.businessweek.com/news/2010-11-08/china-says-fed-easing-may-flood-world-economy-with-hot-money-.html
This monetary easing is preventing recovery by devaluing the growth in savings and preventing self-reliance, investment at real market values and job creation. This Fed tactic makes all things in America more affordable to the rest of the world while pricing us out of the market because of supply and demand and a weak dollar for imports like coffee. We need to become more competitive rather then devalue everything we make and own, including our energy and food resources. Withdrawing taxpayer money from the market, paying down debt and contracting the monetary base will help to insulate the market from hyperinflation when real market demand growth occurs. We need market equilibrium and better market regulation, tax and oversight to increase adaptation, innovation and market efficiences. We need the correction in Housing that the Fed is trying to prevent from the government manufactured bubble. The Fed says this is a liquidity crisis when consumer demand is weak. The only form of real market recovery is thru the deleveraging and savings being built by the American people. Watch a simple video on it here: http://www.southfloridateaparty.net/content/weekly-newsletter-lame-duck

NO Meeting on Thursday

The American Café,
The Robberson Household has the flu. Let’s NOT spread it around by having our weekly Thursday night meeting this week.
Next Thursday night, November 25th is Thanksgiving so we will not have group.
The plan is to be back in the saddle the following Thursday night, December 2nd.
I know how much we all look forward to getting together so we are disappointed we won’t meet. It will be better for us and for all of you too.
Pray about these things:
1) The Lame Duck Session. Democrats, knowing they’ll be losing their majority come January, are attempting to adopt a “Scorched Earth Policy.” This will be the “Last Run” for the Obama Administration to get its unprecedented EXTREME agenda through without heavy opposition. Pray that the obstacle who is carrying the Conscience of the People, the Republicans, will be enough to break the run.
2) That the new arrivals in
3) Pray for Jim DeMint. As the face of the Tea Party (Liberty Movement) in the Senate DeMint now has attracted the full force of the Republican Elite’s wrath. He is being attacked on unprecedented levels including his past, his family and anything else the Republicans can find on him. Yes we’d expect that from the Left but not from the Right! The American Café has committed to pray weekly for Jim Demint.
4) Sharia Law. We have talked about this many times and have followed stories about how radical Muslim elements within
5) Pray for the
6) Ken Buck. Most of you don’t know this. Ken did not concede the election for Colorado Senate even though Bennet has already chosen furniture for his new office. Absentee ballots, provisional ballots and all the military ballots are being counted. The law requires that the results are Certified by Friday. I understand from those in the Buck Campaign that there is some real hope remaining that Bennet started celebrating too soon.
That’s enough for now. As you know we never run out of things to pray about regarding US politics. TSA screenings, the massive tax hike coming in January and the Fed’s Qe2 devaluation of the Dollar are all huge!
So don’t come tomorrow or on Thanksgiving but pray hard. Keep up with the relevant news and take it to the Lord as fast as you hear about it in order to keep from becoming overwhelmed.
Warmly,
Peter and Adrienne Robberson

We are just getting going...Call To Prayer!

The American Café,
Thank you all for your prayers over this election season. As you know Tuesday was Election Day and there was a significant backlash against Obama and all his, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid’s hard left agenda expected. Republicans earned a majority in the House of Representatives and made gains toward a majority in the Senate as well. This will slow, but not stop this President’s agenda; especially since much of the Progressive damage done to this country has been done by liberal Republicans. Pray that God-fearing, Constitution-loving conservatives will gain places of influence in our government.
Also between Election Day and January will be what is commonly called a Lame Duck Session of congress. This is where the current majority knows their days are running out and also knows that they do not have any sort of “mandate” any longer. This congress though is planning on Scorching the Earth, jamming through Same Sex Marriage, repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, Environmental Laws, Card Check for unions, Amnesty and so on, to pay back the special interests who have empowered them: Enviros, Unions, Homosexuals and so on.
The point is we have some serious praying to do. It seems to never stop! Now we must pray for the Lame Duck Session.
Please set aside some time over the next 24 hours to pray. Once the dust settles we’ll be able to mount pressure on all of them again to do the right thing.
Seems like it never ends…
Warmly,
Pete and Adrienne Robberson

Just Returned from a Tailgate Party with Dan Maes
He enjoyed the Frito Poundstoner video that went around and told me it was the first time in 20 months that he really did a full belly laugh. He watched it again and again and he really enjoyed it! I was so pleased that it was an encouragement to him.
We'll see him and his entire family again on Tuesday night at the voter return party from 7-11pm. It is open to all if you'd like to attend. Let me know and I'll give you information on the details.
