Grassroots Training Event, Colorado Springs

I’d like to invite you to come to our American Majority Grassroots Training class. We have conducted a number of these so far and many of you have been unable to attend yet. We have just scheduled a couple more American Majority grassroots Trainings here in Colorado Springs. If it is convenient for you to attend we’d love to have you. The date for the next one will be on Saturday, September 25, in Colorado Springs. 

This training will take place at the community room in Re/Max Properties-Tenderfoot Hill located at 2630 Tenderfoot Hill Street in Colorado Springs from 8:30am to 12:30pm.  Online Pre-Registration is necessary to provide adequate materials and credit card processing. The cost is just $25 per attendee.  Walk-ins are welcome but are $30. Registration opens at 8:15pm. Learn more at www.americanmajority.org, under the Training Tab. About Your Trainer

 

Pete Robberson is a Colorado Springs area businessman working in the Real Estate industry. He was elected to serve on the National Board of Directors of the National Association of Home Inspectors and is the Founder and Past President of the Rocky Mountain NAHI Chapter. Pete worked as an Instructor and Field Trainer for the American Home Inspectors Training Institute, the largest home inspection school in the country. Pete works as an Arbitration Specialist settling disputes between homeowners and home builders and is also a Home Warranty Specialist.

 

Pete has volunteered on several political campaigns and is currently a Precinct Leader and a Division Leader. He founded The American Café home groups, a non-profit, non-partisan organization that brings prayer and political action together for the betterment of our country; he runs the Constitution Project distributing free pocket Constitutions and he travels to trade shows and events with his Freedom Fax to create an instant way attendees can contact and influence their officials. He also teaches a weekly class on the Constitution which is especially popular among home-school students, moms and young people.

 

Peter is a certified American Majority Mechanic Trainer as part of the American Majority Mechanics Program.  Pete was identified, trained and certified to conduct Activist Trainings on behalf of American Majority.

 

The American Majority Mechanics Program was launched in 2010 with goal of training citizen-activists to equip others to become engaged in their state and local communities.  The program is named after the roughly 30 citizens who called themselves “Mechanics” and organized an intelligence network designed to monitor and inform the citizenry about British activities in New England colonies on the eve of American independence.  Among its most notable members was Paul Revere.  For more information on become an American Majority mechanic, please contact us. 

 

 

Focus on the Family 9-12 Patriot Day

We just got home from Focus on the Family Bookstore's 9-12 Patriot Day. What a great event. Our group, The American Cafe, handed out about 500 free Constitutions, Q102 had music, the prize wheel and giveaways and there was free food and drink as well.

Special thanks to Rhonda and Josh who came out to work with us for a few hours. Josh told me he sold about 65 of them. (I'm not sure he got the memo that they were supposed to be free.) They told us about a huge flag flying from two fire trucks on Briargate so we ran by to see while we left for lunch. Maybe the biggest flag I have ever seen.

Several people were interested in The American Cafe. Everyone loved the idea and some will come to our group. Two couples have been thinking of starting some kind of group themselves and think they want us to partner with them to get them going.

All in all a great and exhausting two days!

Now for New Life Church Small Group Sunday tomorrow:

I will be on my own running The American Cafe small group tables for the first and second services after all. Adrienne and Rhonda will be at Women on Target, a NRA shooting event for women. If anyone wants to walk on and help I would appreciate it. I am shooting to arrive at 8am to set up. Adrienne will be able to help with the table during the Sunday Night service.

Today, Friday September 10^th from 4-7 and tomorrow, September 11^th from 9-4 The American Café will be distributing Constitutions free of charge at the Focus on the Family Bookstore’s Patriot Celebration!

 

If you stop over after work today you can MEET OLIVER NORTH, William Boykin and Dr. Stu Weber IN PERSON! There will be food, music, book signing and a good patriotic time. We also have tickets to tomorrow’s Freedom Congress we will be giving out! Come participate with us at the table or just come on by for a great time! Plan on eating dinner there! Bar-B-Q will be catered and for sale and will be irresistible.

I know with all of the trash in the media right now about Dan that some of you are feeling discouraged. Please, don't give into the liberal media's mud-slinging blitz. It is their mission to defeat us and our candidate. We have to stand strong and focus on our ultimate goal - making Dan Maes our next governor!

You may be hearing or reading that Dan's people are abandoning him left and right. Nothing could be further from the truth! Just this week I welcomed 12 new volunteers for Dan in El Paso County. I also received an email today from the county GOP for more yard signs. The lady who works there said, "We need more signs! They are in demand!" We have more and more people coming on board every week!

Most of the "influential" people who have "withdrawn support" never supported him in the first place or they were fence-sitters. They are weak people who are easily bought and gave into political influence. They have proved that their values and principles are for sale. Well, our next governor is not for sale! He has proved that by refusing to back down and refusing their tempting offers drop out of the race. That kind of stamina, strength and determination is exactly what I want in my next governor. I have complete confidence that once Dan Maes is in the state capitol he will listen to the people and their wishes, not the corrupt political insiders. Dan has more than proved that he is not playing games. Taking back our state is not a political game. Colorado's future and it's people's future are at stake.

Hey Dan, if you need help taking down that "for sale" sign on the capitol when you get there, just give us a call!

The American Cafe Constitution Giveaway

The American Café

Well, as the fall ramps up we are starting off right!

This Friday and Saturday, September 10^th and 11^th The American Café has been invited to distribute free Constitutions and Declarations at Focus on the Family’s Annual Patriot Day Celebration! We need help manning our table.

On Friday we’ll set up about 3pm at the Focus on the Family Bookstore. We’ll hang a banner, arrange a table and then greet guests, give free Pocket Constitutions and invite to attend our Thursday night home-groups. We’ll be done around 7pm. If you can help us please email back or phone us at the house-719-573-2193.

On Saturday, September 11^th we will begin around 8:30am and be finished around 4:30pm. It would be great to have about 2 of you at any given time. Maybe you could join us for a couple hours AM or PM for example. Again, please volunteer to work with us for a couple hours sometime this weekend. Get back to us by email or phoning us here at the house at 573-2193.

Secondly,

We will be hosting a table at all 3 services this Sunday at New Life Church for their Small Groups Sunday. There are two services Sunday morning and another service on Sunday Evening. It would be great to have two people for each Service. Adrienne will be at a “Women On Target” NRA shooting event all day long so I will be on my own the whole time if I get no help.

Lastly,

Our First Birthday for The American Café Prayer and Political Action groups is September 16^th here at the house. This will kick off our fall schedule and we’ll continue to meet weekly after that. We’ll gather at 6:30 and start promptly. We’ll spend more time in prayer this week than some weeks. Then we’ll push you all out by 8:30pm at the latest. ***Please help us be finished by then so we can get picked up and get the kids ready for bed. We feel that trying to end more promptly will be helpful to other with kids as well.

One more thing:

If you have not attended our American Majority Grassroots Training I urge you to make the time this fall. It is a 4 hour training to equip Grassroot-ers to become more effective in changing our political landscape. There is a charge of $25 which includes materials and snacks. Our next one will be at September, 16^th at the Re/Max Properties Community Room at 2630 Tenderfoot Hill Drive. Our objective is to train, motivate and equip as many folks as possible through southern Colorado. Registration and payment online is required at AmericanMajority.org under the Training tab for Colorado. This is a powerful training. I know because I teach their material!

Dhimmitude. Have you ever heard that word?

Check it out on Snopes and Google. I did!! I did a Google search on this word!

Has anyone heard of this new word? I did hear that Muslims and Christian Scientists were exempt from having to have government healthcare.

Word of the Day: Dhimmitude

Unbelievable

I had my doubts so I checked with Snopes. There is an exemption for the Muslims in the Health Care Bill. Obama supporters check it out yourself.

Had never heard the word until now---Type it into Google and start reading Pretty interesting. Note that Muslims and certain other religions are exempt from the Obamacare penalties and it is supported by law. We are surrendering from within! The prez is leading us right down the path to total Muslim control and you don't care! Maybe you voted for him but now the truth comes out. Maybe you should rethink what you have done.

Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-muslim populations conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to islam.

The ObamaCare bill is the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia muslim diktat in the United States . Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be "gambling", "risk-taking" and "usury" and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this. How convenient. So I John Smith, as a Christian, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of my assets, including real estate, cattle, cars and etc. and even accounts receivables, and will face hard prison time because I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan will have no such penalty and will have 100% of his health needs paid for by the de facto government insurance at our expence. Non-muslims will be paying a tax to subsidize muslims. Period. This is Dhimmitude.

Dhimmitude serves two purposes: it enriches the muslim masters AND serves to drive conversions to islam. In this case, the incentive to convert to islam will be taken up by those in the inner-cities as well as the godless Generation X, Y and Z types who have no moral anchor or belief in God! If you don't believe in Christ to begin with, it is no problem whatsoever to sell Him for 30 pieces of silver. "Sure, I'll be a muslim if it means free health insurance and no taxes. Where do I sign, brother?"

I recommend sending this email to all your contacts. This is desperately important and people need to know about it and what the past election has done to all of us!

PS Have you heard about the summit Obama is holding this month in DC for the future Muslim business leaders in the US ? He wants to increase their ability to begin business opportunities in the US for the Muslim community! Better start looking for a country that doesn't cater to the Muslims ~ Austrailia doesn't because this country will be overrun by Muslims like Europe is currently experiencing. And you thought our problem was the Mexicans!......

Dear Peter,

We at ACT! for America denounce and condemn, in the strongest terms, the upcoming Koran burning event organized by Pastor Terry Jones and members of the Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville, Florida. Their proposed event is ill-conceived, counter-productive and unwelcome in a world where ideas and philosophies are best debated in the context of the issues and the facts. We find this an archaic act that serves no useful purpose, and as such is a regrettable instance of an inability or unwillingness to discuss the issues facing us in a reasonable and constructive manner.

ACT! for America is, and has always been, committed to exposing the threat of the political ideology of radical Islam and its sharia law through constructive debate, illumination of the facts, and a reasoned analysis of the implications of the threat.

Pastor Jones and his congregation are stooping to the tactics of and joining the inarticulate who express their anger and opposition through destructive and spiteful acts of denigration. What is the difference between his actions and the actions of Islamists destroying synagogues in Gaza or churches and Bibles in Lebanon, Bosnia and Egypt? We are better than that as Americans.
