Congress could learn a thing or two about real change--from Arizona! In the 2010 legislative session alone, a whopping 84 pro-family bills have become law encouraging everything from the culture of life, school choice, and parental rights to religious freedom and ethical research. Congratulations to our friends at the Center of Arizona Policy, who spoke up for their values when Washington was hard of hearing! Speaking of people who make a difference, the volunteers at pregnancy resource centers were honored by the state of Oklahoma last week, when legislators passed a resolution recognizing their contributions to the health of women and children. According to Mike Jestes, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Family Policy Council, FRC played a role in the honor, "Prior to the passage of the resolution, FRC had the opportunity to put in the hands of legislators, elected officials, and PRC directors A Passion to Serve, A Vision for Life, and we believe that these joint efforts benefited the passage of this positive resolution."
